On Tuesday, March 5, staff from the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, and other government and private groups will gather in New York City to announce the top consumer frauds and complaints of the past year.  The speakers will explain the top categories of complaints each organization received in 2012. Local consumers will be on hand to talk about their experiences with some of these scams.

The National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) is a non-profit association of attorneys and consumer advocates committed to representing customers’ interests. Our members are private and public sector attorneys, legal services attorneys, law professors and law students whose primary focus is the protection and representation of consumers. NACA’s members focus much of their efforts on advocating for individuals who have been victimized by fraudulent, abusive, or predatory business practices.
