New York Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection Celebrates National Consumer Protection Week 2015!

To commemorate National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW), throughout the month of March, the New York Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection (DCP) is hosting numerous events across the Empire State to raise awareness about consumer issues.  During NCPW, DCP will also be participating in a Consumer Fraud Prevention Forum hosted by New York City Councilmember Annabel Palma. Ohioans Celebrate National Consumer Protection Week

Teaching Ohioans how to spot consumer scams will be the focus of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office in recognition of National Consumer Protection Week (March 1-7). It’s important to protect our identities and avoid scams all year long, but National Consumer Protection Week is a special time to raise consumer awareness from coast to coast.
