The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host its 4th Annual Consumer Employee Information Fair in conjunction with the National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) on Tuesday, March 5 at FCC headquarters. While the event is not open to the general public, the FCC welcomes other government agencies and consumer groups to exhibit at the fair or just stop by and learn about some of the consumer education resources available from NCPW’s partner agencies and organizations.
Because employees are also consumers, hosting informational fairs and similar events is an excellent way to engage employees and help them become more knowledgeable about consumer issues that affect their daily lives. Organizing these events require little to no cost and can be simple to plan. In addition, you can get free materials from agencies such as the NCPW partners exhibiting at the FCC fair.
If you would like to participate in this event, please contact Celeste McCray at email@example.com no later than Feb. 25, 2013.
If you want to know more about how to organize a consumer education fair for your employees, send email to NCPW organizers.
